Well, I turned thirty one yesterday. Guess I'm officially past it now, huh? And thanks to those of you who wished me a Happy Birthday. Much appreciated.
To celebrate the passing of another year, I took myself up to London, to checkout an exhibition of Andy Warhol's photography at the Hauser & Wirth gallery:
There were nigh on three hundred previously unpublished photos in total. All of them were from the late 1970's to early 1980's, and consisted of celebrities who Warhol knew from that era. It was a good show. Some very revealing photo's, especially the self-portraits taken shortly before he died in 1987.
Afterwards I strolled round London for a couple of hours before heading home.

Thought I'd take a few snaps from the book and post them here for you to look at:
The last one is especially pertinent. Although Debbie Harry wasn't born in New York, to me, she was the epitome of New York style and attitude. And she reminds me of somebody (currently absent from this site), who I am so looking forward to meeting in early March.

yeah most of the indie stores have been pushed out of business. the one i frequent does pretty well for itself since it's really not near any big chains so it does better buisness than most. yoshimi is a pretty good album, it's very relaxing music.
