Okay, so it's been a few days since I last posted. Sorry for those that read this, if anyone. I've been getting run ragged over here. Going out on convoys 4 days a week, plus working in the shop 6 days a week. I think I'm starting to adjust to it though. I don't seem to be getting as tired anymore, which is pretty awesome. In the shop I can go into autofix mode. It's kinda nice. Work on things long enough and you really don't have to use your brain anymore, just kinda zone out and shit gets done. The MRAPs are still piles of shit. They need to come with a warranty. We have one that has under 500 miles on it, and I've had it in the shop for four different major repairs. Oh well, job security I guess. Other than being extremely busy, nothing much has changed. Still down in the 20's at night, up in the 50's or 60's during the day. We got some snow a few nights ago in the mountains around us. It was beautiful. Too bad my camera batteries were dead
Oh, almost forgot to mention. Someone was looking down on us this morning. We missed a giant IED because someone slept in a little bit late. It detonated about the time we would have been rolling right through the area. *whew*
