Went out to do some street photography last night on one of the busiest streets in Naha. Wanted to share some of my experience. Had a great time. Visited the fish market which is always bustling with people. Please enjoy.
I really want to become a SG staff photographer, but approaching girls about it isn't easy. Too many photographers use the camera to be creeps, and I don't want to come off as what the Japanese call "hentai". I just want to take beautiful photos of beautiful people and get paid for it.
I know I have the potential and I know I can shoot and edit my own sets. It's just finding the right people and planning accordingly. The photo groups on SG have been really helpful, and friendly. Man this site is awesome!
Anyway please enjoy the photos.

Maybe try ModelMayhem and see if there are any potential models in your area. That's pretty much how I got started. Maybe there is a Japanese version of that. There are tons of people online that want their pictures taken, and if you continually get better and people like you then your good reputation will grow and more people will want to shoot with you. Hope that helps!

Thanks Writeboy, it helps for sure. Looking at the number of sets you have gives me the impression that you are one of the people I should ask about going Staff. I'm on a tiny island here in Japan, but will be back in the States soon so I suspect the number of potential SG opportunities will grow significantly. Thanks for the response.
