Well, I didn't get to go see the burlesque show last in Sydney last night, but I did get to go play crazy laser games with friends and stay up watching Foxtel til 3am while drinking tequila and Coke. So I'd say my night rocked waaaaay more than going to Sydney for the show.
So I'd like to believe, anyway
I'm sicker than ever, possibly from walking around last night in a singlet top despite the fact that it was only 7 degrees, or possibly from sleeping on the couch where my friend's dogs normally sleep. Possibly, even a little of both.
Been househunting and jobhunting. I gave four week's notice at work yesterday. I told my boss to go stick it. It felt good
But I've also just agreed with my housemate that us living together is going to screw up our friendship, which is not going to be a good thing in a year's time when I'm standing right beside her when she gets hitched. So out it is, on the road again, looking for some nice little hidey-hole somewhere a little closer to everything.
It feels kinda good, being on the edge of everything again. In a weird way I get a buzz out of having my money, my home and my sanity on the line.
But everything works itself out, and it's already been as bad as it's gonna get. *touch wood*
Dinner calls, and I must answer.
