Some people will lie to you. Some people will mislead you. Some people will try to make you believe that their betrayal is your personal problem. That there is something wrong with you, not them. That you are too sensitive or nave. They will say this is just what people do. Get used to it. People like this will try to make you believe that everyone is just like them. That you are the odd one out for wanting the truth instead of lies. That because they are good to you most of the time, these moments of betrayal are acceptable. They've done things for you, so you don't have the right to be upset. That you should know better than that. And instead of apologizing when they get caught, they will become annoyed with you for finding out the truth. These people slowly break your soul. These people make you lose faith in others. These people are selfish. These people only care enough about you when its convenient. Until the truth gets in the way of what they want. Manipulation is not real love or friendship. It's a one sided game. One you will always lose. So don't play.
