First week of school has passed. My loan is way late which really sucks large. Otherwise things are looking up. I'm down to part-time hours at work and I'm actually progresing on my thesis. biggrin

At this rate I may be out by Xmas... okay June. shocked

A week and a bit until school starts. I can't wait. It's not that I love school that much, it's mainly that I hate my bloody job. Back to two shifts a week from 5 will be bliss. smile

Back to school in under a month... by which I mean back to writing my bloody thesis. I finally tracked down the book I've been hunting forr. Hopefully now I can get on with it.

Work sucks, always has, always will. It does pay the bills.

Return to school means a return to gaming. At least that will be fun. whatever

I am an undergrad English major with minors in mathematics and computer science. I want to go to graduate school. Either for an MFA in creative writing, writing, english - or law school. I don't know. I have a lot of ambitions. I love journalism, too smile

SGb in Victoria was good. The show was great, the bands were good, the venue... well it sucked. Stage was really low, most people only saw heads and shoulders. Still worth the money.

Went out last weekend and drank far too much. I really paid the price for that on Saturday. I couldn't even get out of bed until 3. I always spend far too much money at Evolution, but what can ya do. Currently in the middle of a 9 day stretch at work. I may go insane along the way.

Ahhhh (big sigh). Spring Football is over for another year. I now have 3 months where all I have to worry about is work and school....
As for school it looks like I'm not gonna get much done this summer which means I'll probably still be working on my MA this fall . Oh well.

they told me that tickets generally go on sale three weeks before an event that isn't one of their own, i.e. has outside promotion. the best thing to do, the guy on the phone said, is keep watching the website and check their ads in Monday Magazine.

Well so much for a relaxing summer. Aside from working on (finishing) my thesis it looks like I may have to work a whole lot more than I wanted to. Partially because my loan will be about a thousand dollars less than last year, and partially because all the people at work are running for their lives. Damn I need a real job.
