Xmas is over. Worked up until the 24th then went up to the parents for Xmas. Not a bad break at all. Decent loot and good eats. Arrived back in Victoria yesterday. I should have had this week off, but a series of phone calls asking me to come in to work. Will so that for a while today.

So my flu/cold/plague is mostly gone. All I have left is a really nasty cough. Because it's a chest cough most meds don't work. Can't sleep cough will eat me...

Uggg. So sick right now. I just want to crawl into a hole and die. Why do I always get sick at the worste possible times?

The boys got together for some Texas hold'em poker tonight. All in all a good night. I managed to double up my money before the night was through.

Not much worth noting really. Work on my thesis continues to crawl forward. The football team I coach for is into the playoffs. I love coaching, it just seems to take up so much time.

I'm in a good place at work right now. Come in when I want, for however long I want, and work on whatever I want. This can't last....

Bday passed. 28 really doesn't matter that much. I had to go out and by a birthday vacuum... the old one exploded. The weather is really changing fast out here. By the time football practice is over at night it's damn cold.

Up in Nanaimo for a week. I need to refocus on my thesis. I've been drifting a bit again of late. Have not been updating this much in the last few months. There really isn't all that much of note going on. My Livejournal has almost come to a halt as well. I guess my life just isn't very exciting of late.
