buying my new snuggly jumper.
it's supposed to be a dress i think but i'm a bit too long to get away with that. maybe when i get training after christmas....
*********************
i will be mostly wearing this with jeans and my winter boots. these aren't new but i love them so much i'll put them up they're thermo-protective to minus 30 degrees!
anyways, here's the jumper again all close up.
mmmm snuggly.
*********************
i also found some new shoes for work, which is important as my others are actually threadbare to the sole. in fact, they're not even mine- they're my mum's! hahaha and they're horrible. i can be a bit of a stinge when it comes to spending on practical things
these are lovely. and they've even got a bit of heel. just going to have to face that fact that i'll be 6'2 and try not to be my usual awkward self. about time i shook off a bit of my beloved tomboyish nature
*********************
and to top off my exciting shopping trip: my christmas pants!
and a weeny close up....
*********************
this afternoon was mostly about baking.
our next big event at work is an arts and craft fair called Bizarre Bazaar, and I'm aiding with refreshments as well as general expertise and (*fingers crossed) doing television interviews.
so today i dusted off my skills and produced some fine vanilla almond crunch cookies.
firstly there was mess....
then there was a mix....
and then it had to be divided in half and put in the fridge. i made some boobie buns to amuse myself
*********************
when it was time for cutting, there was yet more mess....
but i finally had some results....
and then.....
some cute mini feet. and my favourite.....
hehehehe! how dinky are those little letters?! i kind of want to set up my dolls house and give them a tea party. that is so incredibly sad at the grand age of 22 but hey- christmas does strange things to people. hehehe.
they've yet to be iced and tested. i might put some more pictures up later, but they smelled pretty incredible. alright, i did eat one. maybe two. they were awesome. mmmm.
i've also been indulging on the one enjoyably low calorie snack of the festive season- satsumas! my addiction has been tempted and has now returned with an annual vengeance.
it's made so much nicer but my awesome new fruit bowl
AND when you find the biggest satsuma segment of all time
it was so juicy too.
and so concludes my sunday. other events this weekend included a Night Flight exhibition in our local church that went down really well. i chickened out of doing the interviews for meridian but i'm sure there will be another chance. shy dafty . and one should remember that one is a lightweight and so, not quaff so much red wine when driving home. i was glugging orange juice at the end
bon nuit, i'm off to ice the cookies
And no i have not had the chance to have some poor eastern european scrub your vomit up!x
