So I get to vote today. Interesting. The political climate in this country sure is odd. I think it's pretty fucked-up in alot of ways:
-Voting should be representative of the number of votes each party gets. This would ensure that Canadians are having their voice properly heard and represented.
-The senate should be set up geographically, and somewhat more open to personal opinion. The idea of it being an old-boys club with members who get paid to do nothing much at all is distressing.
-Focus should be taken away from the Prime Minister. Here in Canada, we don't have a president, so let's not pretend we do. Technically in the Constitution there is no mention of a Prime Minister, so why do we allot them so much power?
-Get rid of the Not-Withstanding Clause. 'Nuff said.
-Get rid of fucking voter surveys. It completely undermines the democracy in voting. It makes it strategic, which is ridiculous. I don't want to know who is in the government until I vote.
...That's just a start, too.
-------
As for school, I still can't afford textbooks, and as much as I disagree with the Prosperity cheque, I need it now.
My ass hurts. The play I'm in involves alot of movement, so yesterday I apparently pulled some muscles I didn't know I could pull. Namely my ass.
Man do I have alot of shit to do, and it should all be done today, but that's just not possible, is it? Sad, sad, sad, and really quite disappointing.

Yeah, there always seems to be more shit to do than time to do it all in!
