Hmm.. maybe I should follow up on my investment and use this thing to it's full potential (re: posting random thoughts) more often. Maybe then my comments may actually increase past my fledgling '1' phase.
Arg. School... I start in two days and it's really quite stressful. I haven't received the script or rehearsal schedule for the New Works piece I'm performing in, and I haven't been diligent enough with my audition pieces, but I have found an accompaniast for the musical theatre portion of my audition, which relieves some stress. I'm hoping she can teach me some tips for singing, as I'm pretty much in the dark.
So far my audition pieces are a toss up:
Classical Monologue:
HAMLET
Hamlet: Act 3, scene 3, lines 73-96
Now might I do it pat ... through
... this physic but prolongs thy sickly days.
OR
MEASURE FOR MEASURE
Claudio: Act 3, scene 1, lines 117-135
Ay, but to die, and go we know not where; through
That it becomes a virtue.
OMIT line 132: Isabella: Alas, alas!
Modern Monologue
Zoo Story by Eward Albee (1960)(Various Excerpts are being considered - Probably the one about his apartment)
OR
Nocturne: (An incomplete and inaccurate account of the love affair between George Sand and Frederic Chopin) by Tanya Marquardt (2003) - Fred's opening monologue about music and death.
[b>Musical Theatre Piece
(something like two verses and a chorus)
I Wanna be a Producer from The Producers by Mel Brooks
Movement Piece
...I dunno... ("Please have tights/leotards to wear for the movement section of the audition.")
Plus possible Improvisation and Script Reading portions.
Followed by the...INTERVIEW. *sweat*

Yeah it's pretty intense. AND I may not be eligible for the program due to my failure of Statistics (Hiss hiss), which brought my GPA down pretty low and may restrict the faculty from letting me take another course this coming semester to fix things.
The good news is that I can use both monologues for the audition for National Theatre School in a couple of months, and that should - SHOULD - relieve some stress.
*Phew*
Enough about school, though.
I'm sick. Well, getting sick. It's not very fun, I must say. Sore throat, sore all over. Maybe I have Syphillis. Hmmm.... Unfortunately that's pretty doubtful.
Relationships? Well it's been a hectic few weeks, with new faces, and old. I'm not doing things quite what one would call well. But that's a whole other business and rant, confession, and whatever else spews out.
...............
Blah. Meeting mom for lunch at Red Lobster. I hope it's great.
Give me love.
