Supernova and the Yard Gnome
Yes, I bought tickets to go to the Buffalo show of the Rockstar Supernova extravaganza. I bought the tickets when I thought Storm or Dilana or Toby would win.
I was pretty disappointed when my countryman Lucas Rossi won. He can sing well when he wants to, but mostly he's a mushmouth. I just think they had better choices available to them.

So the show rolls into Buffalo, but without most of what I would have liked to make up for having to sit through the band with Lucas. Ie no House Band, no Panic Channel (Where are you Dave??!), Dilana only had one guy to play acoustic guitar (She was the best part of the show). And the only other 'contestant' to show up was Toby. His band was pretty good too I must say.
The lighting guy didn't show up until AFTER Dilana's set, so she played mostly in the dark.
The sound guy must have called in sick 'cause the whole show was way over driven and clipping all the time.
The sound guy's backup also couldn't handle the vocal mix, but that's not a problem, especially when the Yard Gnome was singing (Supernova).
Supernova isn't called Supernova. Somebody didn't realize that name was taken, so they have to call themselves Rockstar Supernova officially. How lame is that to call your band the same as the TV show?
Also, as you may know, Jason Newsted didn't make it. He dropped a bass head on himself. Check out this hilarious thread for some metal head's thoughts on what really happened:

Did Jason Newsted fake injury (again)?

Overall, it was entertaining... but not for all the right reasons.

Anybody else see this or any of the other shows?

thanks so much!!
