my college roommate and i watched Law & Order reruns on TNT religiously. if she was upstairs working on a paper when it started, i turned the volume up for the theme song and it drew her like a fly to stink. at the end of each episode, we had "lessons of the day." usually they were pretty silly like "don't lie to cops - they'll fuck you up." god i miss that. but no tv for me anymore. it's a mental sink-hole.

heh, when I was working, at a job that paid more than room & board, it was very rare for me to meet a man who made more money than me. Except for the famous ones. And most of them tended to be assholes. I think I would rather make my own spending money.
Although I suppose now that I think about it the man I am with now is very wealthy. I tend to forget that as we both live a very simple lifestyle.
I can't decide if I like the changes or not. Everything looks and feels very different. Maybe I'll just have to get used to it. I am glad to see so many people I knew still here though.
