today is pretty nice out.
even inside, here at work, they've clicked on the AC--a rare year the facilities guys get that one right.
Glad to see my last post invoked a party. I know last year's party was a very good start to the season.
So the party is on the Sixth of May, and I have an exam on the 9th, then I'll be free to move on from there...
Seems a long time to wait for both freedom from school and something cool to do, but oh well...
I feel very shackled to schoolwork now...I really shouldn't do anything but until, oh, next Tuesday, then another week after that...then, the exam...have I let on I hate this one class. I do!
I just turned down one of my employee's leave requests. She abuses her sick leave and vacation leave and now she's actually kind of fucked up with a sore shoulder, possibly somekind of nerve problem, and there's nothing left but a 1/2 a day.
Too bad, so sad. She tried to get pity, which is a change, usually she goes the intimidation route, which doesn't work on me--she's trying, I'll give her that.
I do have some emphathy for her situation, but no sympathy. Perhaps, I'm cruel?
I'd like to think so...
Anyways, I suppose I should try and get something done now.
What, I don't know....
Maybe I'll order the part I need for my other class. I'm hacking my Xbox to create a viable computer. It's pretty cool stuff. Been testing Live-CDs (a OS which runs on a CD/DVD) to run on it once I get the mod chip installed, that I ought to buy...
