A bit sore from carpeting Alexis' bedroom in her new house with SeanieFresh. Using carpet stretcher kickers is a good way to rub up a good rug burn.
But it won't too bad...nah, was just fine.
Got a nice dinner. SeanieFresh worked it out in his new kitchen; and many know I'm a gastronome (even if I do suggest we eat dog sometimes), so I really appreciate that.
Way to go!
In other news, I have this new job and I'm trying to ascertain if my boss (more so my client per our arrangement) is perhaps slighty insane or paranoid or daft or whatever the word... He wrote me over the weekend with some frantic plop about Chinese Hackers.
I didn't see any compromises, but it would be fun if we got attacked some, so I can study it. I'm taking a computer security class, so it would be optimal for it to happen now. I might learn something.
But truthfully, I don't enjoy the administrating a server crap. I like programming. My new client/boss has some programming for me to do, but it's dreadfully boring.
Ok, that's my complaint.
I guess I just didn't want to get hassled on the weekend (it's generally my time to spend with trashe and friends, which I did, and relax...blah blah, I'm stubborn and lazy.
And, I need to weigh the pay-off against the effort. nyah.
Week 2 of class: I need to buy the books. You know, I've made it through the last 4 or 5 semesters (7 or 8 classes about) without purchasing any books.
In computer science, a lot of books are superfluous. However, I'm gonna buy the two for these current courses. They look pretty good.
If this month stops dragging on, it'll be payday again, and I can purchase some plane tickets out west for vacation.
I need a change of venue, at least temporarily, and also, soon probably, a permanent one.
I don't know about others, but I'm pretty non-commital when it comes to cities, towns, states and probably even countries (even though I've only lived in this one).
Makes it hard, becuase I'd like to invest in property...yet, I don't know where to live. If I had more loot, I wouldn't worry about it, but I'm not there yet; not enough to just invest in properties in far off places.
Well, I hope to have a lively week. It'll be busy, and I ought to start it right this second.

I made some gravy after you left. Looks like open faced hot roast pork sandwiches for dinner.
Soon... house warming party
