Well, I'm here at work not celebrating Martin's b-day. Sorry dude. I don't hate (you, otherwise I can not say...).
Strangely, here at work, where there's union and non-union employees--I'm non-union but used to be union--only the union folks, due to their contract, get MLK's birthday as a holiday.
So, the place is empty.
I have little motivation, but I'm in a holding pattern.
Tomorrow, I start the spring semester (you know, I've actually been going to school, at some level, since 1991; impressive or pathetic?).
Will be hard, all higher level classes with menacing names.
As I mentioned previously, I have two part-time (computer programming) jobs. Spent the better part of Saturday working on one of them.
It was a lot of research. I learned a lot in a short period of time. Like, for example, I learned what digital physics is or might be.
The short of it: "In theoretical physics, digital physics holds the basic premise that the entire history of our universe is computable, that is, the output of a (presumably short) computer program."
And I think I have it bad.
Sheesh, that's a fucking project for real.
Anyways, besides mild curiosities, trashe and I were very sloth-like over the weekend.
I lament the continuation of that state.
O woe is me.
So, back to work, and tomorrow, really and for real, back to work...

You are so right it is uncanny. I know this about him. He seems to be able to turn every confrontation between us into my fault at which point I stop listening because it is bullshit. He is a good person inside but I want him to stop with the dominance because I dont think it is productive.

Thanks. I've never done carpeting, but it dosen't take an advanced degree to google a how-to & rent some tools. I think it might be easier / faster /cheaper to have it installed, but I'd like to learn.
