Like most people on Suicidegirls, I joined the site because of the gorgeous ladies I ogled for their confidence... but then I found myself mesmerized by the amazingly kindhearted and talent most of these ladies possessed; and I was hooked.
Everytime I get an opportunity to be around a bunch of SG's, I always go home with a few new besties & a thousand new memories. Usually I'm a little anxious and shy at 1st, but it's absolutely hard not to feed off the radiant energy of that many joyous women.
That being said, I can't just choose one instance at one particular moment where one SG made me feel welcome, because there are several. From the beginning as a hopeful, when Quinn &Roach took care/befriended me the 1st time I went to the SG house during the Halloween multi; to the Con experiences when Milloux, Lyxzen, and Rambo all took turns tending to ladies during such hectic and trying times; to my awful failure of an attempt at learning to dance with the burlesque crew & Liryc comforted me with her pep talks...These all hold strong in my memories.
I do know that a lot of the friendships I've created over the years is largely due to SG... the site helped bring some amazing people into my life, and facilitate some beautiful relationships.
People change and relationships change, but these memories will last a lifetime... or until my brain gives out š
