"Sometimes a brain is more important than a fancy camera."-Philip Greenspun
One of my favorite photographers is Philip Greenspun. He's mostly a landscape and urban landscape photogrpaher, though he has done a touch of it all. Now while my favorite photos to view and take don't fall under either of his specialties I still see him as a good photographer. I'm gonna share some of his photos with you.. in lil size. Also, at the bottom of this lovely journally bloggy thing will be a link for anyone who intends to learn more about photography. I'm sharing this cuz I wish it was around when I was learning. Though the internet itself was barely around at the time.
Well. Here's some pretty pictures to look at that should make even the most arrogant of us humble our mouths shut. Except rpg and self. We're the best after all... you didn't know?
Here are some of his specialties.
And for some of my favorite art nudes not shot by me.
And just a damn good shot.
And these are just a drop in the ocean of what Rick got during the Jazz Festival... none of them have anything to do with the Jazz Festival though. Funny that.
This is a photo of me lining up a photo with Ricks reflection in the sunglasses and a well positioned camera so as to not show HIS camera taking the picture. Yippy.
That's a girl on a scooter. Not the most clear shot. We were going rather quckj and there was much laughter. Nothing could be done. Fuck was I giggle fitting.
And we had rpg take this cuz I couldn't convince him to let us see his true identity. I think he's a spy. ANYWAY. Rick and rpg are the same height and sizeish. So this is a good example of my girthitude and LOUD ass shirts that I do like to wear.
And here's that link for anyone who wants to be in the know.
