LOL - I just noticed last Friday was the 13th! Bummer I missed it - drat!
So, busy week! I made my first Etsy sale of a panel belt - so excited! And it was a really pretty one, too. Also put another one together, this time in purple and I really like it! Learned a bit about sewing and the like during the week, so I feel a touch guilty that the one I sold wasn't up to par with the one I made, but I am probably the only one on the planet that would even notice the difference! A sale was still pretty exciting, though!
I also discovered that there are REALLY no fabric stores in town! A couple quilting stores, but that isn't the same thing, so I'm going to have to drive 'into the valley' to do my fabric shopping along with any witchy shopping I may want to do. Seems a bit crazy to me, but, what the hey!
The beginning of this month my educatedsavage.com site went down and I moved it over to GoDaddy - but that means I have to rebuild the site completely and I've been feeling really lazy, but once I do, I can get my online store all set up and possible pull in some dollars that way. I can't decide if I'm feeling impatient or lazy right now. Impatience makes me want to only work on stuff where I can see results right away and lazy means I don't want to do anything that takes effort. Sometimes it's hard to tell the two apart!
Also discovered the library, it's online catalogue, and electronic hold request form. Hahah! I love libraries just SO much! So, right now, I have 12 books checked out, 3 sets of CDs, and 1 DVD. Almost all of the books are about the spirit world and psychic abilities, except one that I got on neurolinguistic programming. Maybe the route to my goals could be helped with a little self-hypnosis? I hope so! At the very least, I can work on changing my world by changing my own perception. Maybe. The CDs are all guided meditation discs, so I'm excited to get a shot to try them out!
It's hard to 'find the time', though, since I'm trying to work so much. Which just consists of being signed into the tarot site I'm on and making sure I can be available and ready to read in 45 seconds or less at all times. Trickier than it sounds, honest! LOL!
My hunny got a letter from Best Buy saying they wouldn't hire him because of his arrest. That happened last night, so... not sure what we're going to do about rent and bills, but I do know if I'm going to have any kind of shot at making it, I'd better get my ass in gear! I hate getting my ass in gear.... lol. Ah well - c'est la vie, eh?
