I think ideally we all want somebody to care for, and to care for us.  Somebody to share things with and think of when we're apart.  Somebody who really accepts who we are, somebody we really connect with... you know somebody who "gets" who we are... not just the shiny bits, but all the dark and sometimes moody stuff too.  Who doesn't want that?
