random useless info. Donkey Kong was originally supposed to be called Monkey Kong but when it came from Japan they made a typo. By time they figured it out they had already shipped it to the US so it was too late. I think it would of been cute if it was this instead of this throwing barrels at Mario instead of this .

oh ya still moving. but gone and at new place tuesday. half my stuff has already been moved but i had to stay behind and sleep on an air mattress so i could have internet and study for final.

Actually it wasn't a typo. The game designer thought that "donkey" meant "stupid" in English, so he assumed the name "Donkey Kong" would roughly mean "stupid ape" in English. Obviously he was confusing "donkey" with "ass," imagine if we all played Ass Kong?
