k, so I just got back from the emergency room... excruciating chest pains. There were apparently a few heart attack victims that got there before I did, and everything got very backed up, I waited for 4 hours before I was taken into the back, where I laid down on a stretcher for another 45 minutes, leaking tears all over the bed, trying not to make too much noise. Nobody looked at people in the stretchers as they walk by, except for the guy who did my EKG - thank god for that man. He was immediately alarmed when he saw me, got a doc over and they shot me up with some morphine - I couldn't move.
X-rays, CT scan with reactive dye injected into my veins, bloodwork, a hematoma from a fucked up IV - 7 hours later they discharged me, oxycodone and antiinflammatories for me for the next few days.
..... it's good to be alive.
