The Tingler
1959
Vincent Price

Need to get this out of the way right from the start. Vincent Price drops LSD in this film. I don't need to say another fucking thing for you to want to go watch this movie...
But I will.
This is one of those films, in that era of time, where a "doctor" needs to come out at the start to explain what is going on. This time it's the director William Castle that fills you in. Castle was known for his gimmicks that went along with his movies. Like at the showing of Macabre, he had a $1,000 life insurance policy against "Death by Fright". He called these Percepto!
For The Tingler, he had vibrating seats for the theaters. Which I won't get into so you can find out why if you watch it.
If you like Price and enjoy the early days of pushing limits, give this one a go. I really enjoy this one.
Found on a channel called "Horror" It's free and does have ads which sucks. Also on a number of other channels if you just do a search on your Roku
