Actually, Chronicles vol 1 is his book... it's sorta an autobio, but he's more evasive than just doing a straight timeline of his life. I don't care though, it's a great book.
My fave album's always been Highway 61, but in recent years I finally got into Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks in a big way.... and Bootleg Series: Live 1975 is friggin incredible. A double-CD and I think everything on it is fantastic except there's one song I think is merely okay (I think it's "Mama, You've Been on My Mind"... or maybe "Oh Sister", I forget). The other 21 songs are fantastic.
I think Live 1975 is the best album to come out this decade. The only competition for me is Hardcore UFOs by GbV, but that's a career-ending box-set, so it might not count (and it's wildly uneven over its 5 CDs).
