in the FAQs they link to a few sites, one of them mailinator and the other spamgourmet, both of them websites which offer the promise of easily created fake addresses that you can use to avoid spam but from which you can still manage to retrieve a bit of mail. of course, now that I've found them, I don't seem to have any use for them. I wonder how effective they are?
