this weekend i worked at a big ol' food festival at the riverfront overlooking the beautiful detroit skyline... i love seeing d-town from windsor... it can be pretty sketchy to actually be there sometimes... lol... so it was beautiful outside and i ate more chocolate than any one person was ever meant to consume! aaaaahhhhhhh..... love it!

but i was in paris so it was ok...but i had a great time last year, i wish they'd put carl craig in charge of it again, i'm afraid tthat it's going to get watered down when it could otherwise be something great for detroit...i mean people from all over the world come to it. hah..yea...i never went to packard plant and that stuff much because i was in chicago, but that's classic. i'm in ann arbor now for school but i grew up in the d and i lobe it even though i still get lost as all hell there. let me know if you come out here for a show or anything i'll keep an eye out for you

Everyone is afraid to take chances with innovative design, not just the adult industry. You start out thinking "I'm gonna do some really great stuff", but the client will never let you. They always say "I want it to look like that" and "that" is always shitty shitty design work. Or on the rare instance that you actually get something cool and interesting past the first 1 or 2 rounds, they'll always kill it. I think I have yet to have anything that I feel good about and can claim as my own make it to the final round. Then you start to get bitter and lower your standards and then have a harder time making anything good. uhhhhhhh

so i'm headiing to the melvins and jucifer concert in d-town this monday... should be a pretty fuckin sweet show! the melvins are rediculous good... i haven't heard jucifer before tho... hope i'm impressed! i wish i could have seen the tool/melvins show in cali..
