Ok, so, mum has just got back from visiting dad. They are keeping him in til about Wednesday, then they'll transfer him to a different hospital and do an angiogram, and depending on the result of that there are three outcomes:
1) he'll have to go on medication
2) he'll have to get a stent [thing to englarge bits of your heart or something]
3) he'll have to get a bypass.
His heart is a bit enlarged, probably because it's having to work harder due to a blockage. Whatever happens, he's not going to be home for a couple of weeks at least.
Weird thing is, I have felt a bit fluttery and had a bit of a weird palpatation episode yesterday. Sympathy pains? I'm thinking I'm going to get it checked out anyway - better safe than sorry since I've had blood pressure issues before.

My uncle had to get a bypass last year, and an old workmate of mine got a stent, and both were treated in Glasgow as it has all the specialists, I'm sure things will be okay no matter how scary they seem.
