Well....what a weekend!
Went over to Tim's on friday night, got absolutely drenched walking down to meet him, resulting in earache and being frozen, but it was all sooooo worth it
Saturday we went to Fright Fest at the GFT where we got to see Grindhouse in it's full glory, inluding trailers and all, then Eden Log which I am not shy about saying was a big steaming pile of gash. I guess in the right mood it would have been ok, but it's not a horror movie in the slightest. I am such pansy and at no point was I scared. Next was Rec, which was really good, and really scary.
Next up was the Cottage, with an introduction and a Q&A with Reece Shearsmith and Andy Serkis, plus the director and producer which was a nice surprise. Finally was Zombie Strippers which was a good bit of naked zombie fun. Had a really enjoyable night.
Left about 2am I think, headed back to Tim's and went to bed.
Had a nice lazy sunday together, watching dvds and having my ass handed to me on the Xbox. Had dinner with his family and then we all watched Alvin and The Chipmunks together before Tim took me home.
Such a simple yet awesome weekend. I'm all happy.
In saying that though I've been irritable as fuck all day today. I've been talking to customers on the phone like they are inept morons, and got really defensive when this guy who I went out of my way to help, and by his own admission was the only person to help him out of all the 6 phonecalls he;d had to make on the problem, got all narked at me. Sorry mate, but I promised to phone you back by tomorrow, even though I'm only meant to take inbound calls, and I called you back TODAY with an update, and I'm still working on it for you. It's not my fault, it's not even my department, yet I'm still working it for you because I know they want, so show a little gratitude, will you? Arse.
Anywhore, I'm off to get my hair cut tomorrow as I get paid. Any suggestions? I want a change but I'm useless at picking stuff to suit me.
