My my my....what a busy weekend I had.
I worked saturday morning which was, as usual, worky therefore shitty. Then headed straight into town to meet my boy
Headed down to a shop so he could sell his Wii, and then went to the Braehead centre and had some lunch and wandered about. Went back to his, had some tea and listened to music, then got our bums in gear and headed off to AIleen and Colin's for DVD and pizza fun.
Had a right good giggle, and watched some damn good films. District 13 = *thumbs up*
Headed back to Tim's and had some good clean fun [*ahem*] and stayed up til crazy o'clock talking and stuff.
Sunday I had to leave quite early to take my nephew to see The Water Horse as a belated birthday present. Picked him up from my place and we got the train which was good fun. In the queue for cinema tickets he was telling me all this stuff about dinosaurs and prehistoric insects. That kid has such a brain. 7 years old and he's explaining what era and period they all come from [and I'm not talking t rex and diplodocus here, I'm talking big long obscure ones I couldn't even pronounce] and what they eat and stuff.
Then we went to get food, and took a mozy around the shops and then it was time for the movie.
We both really enjoyed it, although it was slightly ruined by the group of 14 year olds who didn't anticipate the bunch of 5 year olds and their dads being there. I think they thought it was some sort of Jurassic Park style affair, so when it turned out to be a tad mushier than that they were talking and squealing and arseing about throughout it. At one point one of the girls actually screamed, to which I responded from accross the cinema with a loud, sharp 'SHUT UP!'. And they did
That's pretty much it I guess. I should head to bed as I have a 7am start at work tomorrow. Fleh.
