Dancers for Cancer
If you live in the Vancouver area please come out and support this event. I know what it's like to have cancer, and the months and more often years spent recovering. If you are one of the luck few to catch it in time, many never are.
I had no idea i had cancer until i forced my doctor to have tests done. This kind of event not only supports the women that have suffered from it but it helps all research for many other types of cancers.
The saddest this to see is a child in the bed next to you taking the same treatment that hurts so much. i still cry when i think back to my time in the kemo ward.
Where: The Drake Showlounge, Vancouver
When: Sunday, February 26, 2006 from 4pm till midnight
