Disney World in a nutshell:
They call Disney World
The Happiest Place on Earth
Because it is TRUE!
Alright, we planned a short trip so we only spent one day in the Magic Kingdom. But what a day it was. We started off by waking up at 7:30 and after getting dressed and packed and ready we arrived at the front gates of the park at about 9:05am. We walked in and followed our friend's advice of making a clockwise visit so we can hit rides before they develop lines.
I don't want to send all the gooey details of the trip, but I'll mention some of the highlights now.
Beth's favorite rides were: Pirates of the Carribean, and Splash Mountain (I think)
My favorite rides were: Small World (for the last 25 years) and the new Mickey's Philharmagic
The Pinnochio hamburger place was a great place for lunch.
embarassing tale #1: I rode Space Mountain for the first time, and I was having a bout with gas and fear and I was totally relieved that after I cut wind, that I didn't shit myself on the ride.
The new Stitch's Escape Ride is really awesome, even though it replaced the Alien Encounter ride. I could have gone without the smell of a belched out Chilidog in my face though.
Song of the South is a great movie, and I wish Disney Would release it especially since it's the basis behind the Splash Mountain ride.
They are buildinga Hong Kong Disneyland and there were represenatives from Hong Kong at the park and that was really neat.
Beth and I almost filled up an entire book with pressed pennies from the different rides and shops. That was a great souvinier and probably one of the best souviniers ever.
This has to be one of the cutest pictures ever!

Disneyland ruined it for me a few years ago.
