A few things:
I've got two awesome gnarly bruises on me from unloading the truck at TRU. I have one on my forearm and it's nasty and one on my leg from when a huge powerwheels vehicle box fell on me. I'm okay though, just a little sore and tender. I like physical abuse, it makes me want to watch Fightclub and then shave my head and get beat up and spit out blood and teeth.
I think I figured out why I enjoy hearing children cry at TRU. I don't enjoy the act of crying, but it warms my heart to hear this raw response from kids who are looking for instant gratification in the name of toys or candy. Like their anguish is so genuine to them, and they are unknowing of how painful life can really be. One day they will learn that their crying because their parents spent $700 on toys for them and didn't buy a candybar on the way out was really just trivial.
and now two halfassed haikus:
Forward direction
requires looking forward and
looking behind you.
In the silent air
I feel my heart race loudly
pounding percussion!
