The Story:
Wednesday a customer made an attempt to drive off without paying for his gas. Our awesome clerk was aware of his intentions and attempted to chase him and get his liscense plate information. After the customer dropped the pump and ran to his car our clerk was close enough to knock on his window when the assailant crashed into an oncoming car. From there he attempted to take a different route and was chased by an off duty police officer. His car crashed in the yard behind our store and he was stuck trying to explain his actions.
The sad part is, since he paid for the gas after he was caught, and he claims to have not been trying to steal gas in the first place, the state of florida will not press charges because it's nigh impossible to prove that he was in fact trying to steal gas. Even though he did peel out, we have 8 witnesses watching what happened, and he did throw the pump on the ground, plus a bajillion other factors that make it obvious what he was doing.
People fucking suck.
in other news, I bought 2 cds which were long overdue for my library. I haven't heard them in their entirety yet though, but I bought: The Rapture: Echos and Single Frame: Body/End/Basement
so far so good.
edit: The Rapture is really repetetive and kinda dull, Single Frame is really interesting and noisy.
