Today is the Day
that I make the six mile trip
to a better life!

In the last two years since I've lived in this apartment, I've seen a lot of trucks bring people in, and take people out. I always wondered why people left so frequently. I know why we move in, because the rent is supercheap, and we're not too far from conviniences for ourselves (shopping, school and work). Then after my first year I realized why people flee this place like rats on a sinking ship. I've been living in a hellhole. Of course I've had problems like a broken fridge (which has yet to be fixed) a broken AC (that took almost 8 months to fix correctly). I've put up with creepy neighbors, horrible messes, roaches, screaming, loud music and obnoxious people altogether. Not to mention that for the first 7 months Pizza Hut wouldn't deliver to our complex becuase someone was mugged and killed for their pizza delivery. (wow for a not to mention that was kind of a mention?) However in a few short hours that lovely woman by my side and myself will be moving to a nicer neighborhood. I hope that upon our moving in, we don't see so many trucks to take everyone out.
