I finally have a tv and stereo in my apartment here in Korea; the DVD players are different over here so my movies will not work. What a waste of perfectly beautiful pornography
Cool dude, i'm in Suji (near the end of the Bundang line by Ori Station.) We should hook up at some point...maybe a night in Itaewon or something like that.
your friend directed that movie?? crazy! can you give me some free DVDs of Donnie Darko?? (just kidding) thats so awesome. hope you had fun in p.s. and what are you doing in Korea? (you probably told me but I have a horrible memory!)
thats so weird- I was just about to add a comment asking how korea was treating you- where in Korea are you at? thanks for the comment about the socks- I have about 10 pairs of colorful toe socks had any good kim chi or bulgogi?
Leaving to Suwon South Korea on 4/20 now. I don't know a fucking soul over there but I'm looking forward to it. I'm a tall drink of water and those girls seem parched.
I saw your post at the S. Korea Group. The Migliore is a rather large movie theatre that has both new Hollywood and Korean productions. If you start missing American food, there's a pretty decent Outback Steakhouse nearby. You should find more than enough good, non-franchise restaurants, though.
Seoul is only 30-45 minutes away using the freeway or a bus. You should also be able to use the train to dodge traffic. There's plenty of clubs to go to... I would avoid Itaewon (it's where the Yongsan Garrison soldiers go to get trashed), though, and focus more on the University sectors (like Hong-Dai). I would recommend carrying some sort of paperwork on you if you enjoy a short haircut or shaving everyday, as that will get you confused for a GI, and both the local law officers as well as Military Police are on the lookout.
Everland and a couple other amusement parks are within 30-45 minutes...
Eh, there's other stuff as well. I'm sure you'll have fun.
