I have a confession to make. It's a deeply personal one which, when I think about it, makes me feel like I'm not quite the man I should be. I'm almost sure that by telling you this you will look at me with the kind of disgust and hatred normally reserved for the most evil of sex offenders...or women who trap cats in wheelie bins.

I love the film xXx.



I know I shouldn't. It's rubbish film. I esp shouldn't like it since I'm such a snob when it comes to other films. If a film doesn't have a watertight and interesting plot, good acting and production values, I'm all other it like a mother fucker. I hate the thought of bad films when I think of the money they spend on them.

And then we come to xXx.

There is so many things about this film I love. From the opening scene when an obvious James Bond gets killed, to Samuel L Jackson displaying acting talent which will see him in good stead playing Nick Fury (although I do think the director had kidnapped his kids to get him to say some of the dialogue how else would you explain the captive lion speech) and Vin Diesel just murdering the script (*cocks his head* I live for this shit). Amazing stuff. Although the fact one of his tattoos says Melkor after his favourite D&D character gives him much cudos in my opinion.

Throw it cheesy European bad guys (Anarchy 99 like anarchy is anything scary) who say such class lines like bitches dance and a cheeky cameo by Danny Trejo and I'm loving every second of it.

So there you have it. One of my deepest, darkest secrets. And it shames me. It does. After writing this, I feel the need to shower.

But at least I don't like the Russell Crow Robin Hood film. I'm not a pervert after all
