For you pleasure, music while you read
OK, haven't been on much recently, and with all the decadence and depression of the last blog, looking at the past, now is the time for the future.
Today I build a wall. Last night, some spasey(?) chav knocked done my front wall, so I had to rebuild it, esp since I'm currently trying to sell my house. Considering I've never laid a brick before in my life, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
I've decided to go to university to study history. Am currently trying to work out where I want to study, somewhere up't north, I think. Maybe Sheffield or Manchester. And I have an open day in Northampton to look forward to this month. But if anybody can give me any advice, not only on universities but also where's good to live, would be very much appreciated.
Am currently training to do the 3 peaks challenge. You have to climb the 3 highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland (Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis) all in 24 hours. The first adventure in my new life.
I have a job interview on Monday (yay). It's to be one of those annoying drop-outs who solicit you in the street for charity and mug you for your bank details. After 10 years of working in a bank (and at one point, we DID become the bad guys from Casino Royale, in that, we were financing terrorists...), I'm think the only way to save my soul now is this or joining a monastery.
And finally, my moral question for the day...is it wrong that Albert Speer is one of my favourite architects?
Have fun over the weekend my little cherubims, and I'll talk to you soon xx
