decided yay on the tongue ring. had it done tuesday by a very attractive lady, so i've kinda been unable to speak or eat since. it's gonna take some getting use too, but i'll give it a couple of months to see how i like it.
drank an incredable ammount of wine and jim beam last night, whilst watching westerns down my friends house, so haven't been in the best shape today. despite this, i've had a really good day. i retired to my bed, sipping white russains, and meeting new people on this site (hello again ). i've watched underworld 1&2 (christ, i must've been drunk this morning, even derek jacobi couldn't save the traincrash these films are), rocky balboa (a film thats far better than it has any right to be) and now i'm watching animal factory (a real feel good film).
being slight hungover, i ran over the local shop and bought crinklecut oven chips and a microwave chicken curry and rice. it has to be the sluttiest meal i've had in ages. eating it is really, really interesting. it's the first solid(ish) food i've had all week, and i keep biting and pulling my tongue bar. ouch. it's like learning how to eat again. really can't wait until these thing is healed.

BTW, as one from close to the heart of Bourbon land I can say that you have to try Makers Mark. It is great Kentucky sipping whiskey. I think you'll like it.
