Here's what I know about it:

On Tuesday, 8th of August, two S.U.V.s were drag-racing down Blaisdell Ave. in Minneapolis. At the intersection of Blaisdell and 35th St. they blew a red light.

My friend/co-worker Aaron and his friend Sara were on Aaron's motorcycle driving around south Minneapolis down 35th St. crossing Blaisdell Ave.

Aaron was able to avoid the first vehicle, the second hit them full on causing severe damage to his leg, breaking several ribs, damaging his right arm, and throwing both Aaron and Sara from the motorcycle about 50 feet. Aaron was conscious through all of it.

A chunk of car fell off. It's a dark GMC.

I visited Aaron today. His leg was amputated below the knee. His right arm is bandaged and gauzed and swollen. He has cuts on his face. He was having difficulty breathing because he has blood on his lung. Sarah's been in intensive care since that night, she's doing slightly better now.

Aaron is a good person. Someone being a complete idiot took his leg, took his life (as he knew it), and took the ability to work or walk away from him.

This person, whoever they are, deserves the fullest extent of the law excersized against them. Livid, I am fucking livid. And I am shocked, and sad, and dark all at the same time.
