An old girlfriend, I ran into at the bar tonight, suggested we go to the traveling Viet Nam War Memorial which is in Casper, this weekend. I looked up the name of a friend of mine who was killed in the war in 1969.
We wrestled together, were in gymnastics together and cowboyed around at a local ranch. This young man grew up on ranches and had a great affinity with horses, he would be called a horse whisperer now, if he was still alive. I can't think a single person in politics now, or anyone running for the highest office in the land who would not sacrifice our young people for their political Bull Shit.
Remember Richard T. Kastner as do I, and don't let it happen again !
