I had invided a friend to party with us last Monday, I was not too concerned when she didn't show up, I know how committed she is to her family. When I talked to her Thursday, she told me that after leaving work on Saturday night, she stopped for a drink at The Wonder Bar, and had ordered a martini and was with friends, when a couple of guys came up to her , a white guy who gave her a flower and a black guy who engaged her in conversation, she said she had an uncomfortable feeling about the two guys,. And a fresh Martini arived at the table. She said she had one sip of the drink and slipped out while the two guy were otherwise occupied. When she got home she began to feel very high and her head was spinning. She ended up passing out in her bathroom. After one drink ! She was sick for the whole weekend and was not able to enjoy time with her kids.
These two guys slipped her a micky ! The Wonder Bar has been a place I have been avoiding because of it's declining reputation. I have a sudden need to be a waiter and a watcher. 35 years ago I was a bouncer at a bar and would like nothing better than to squash there two bugs.

I have a nice old school Louisville Slugger that would be the perfect antidote to those two cretins. A busted kneecap or two might be the lesson they need. Hope your friend is doing better. Good thing she trusted her instincts!
