Hey Kids! I'm in Hervey Bay!
I just finished a 3 day 4-wheel drive bus tour on Fraser Island with Marco (Yeah, I'm travelling with him again. you'd think I'd have learned the first 3 times). I'm just finishing the first of a long 4 weeks of steady travelling.
It had an interesting start on Saturday as I was leaving for the airport and discovered that i'd left my wallet locked up at work in the glove box of one of the utes. With no time to waste waiting for someone to bring me keys I had no choice but to jump the fence and break the small triangle window to get it out. Having committed an act of burglery first thing in the morning I made my escape by plane to Brisbane where I met Marco. I slept 2 nights on the couch of a nice Canadian girl. Marco had the better deal. He shared her bed. On Sunday we went with Her and a bunch of her friends to the Australia Zoo. A very cool place.
Monday we drove South to Surfers Paradise, where we took a lift to the 77th floor of the worlds tallest residential building, got lost in a mirror/laser maze, and showed up to a bar made of ice 15 minutes after closing. The next day we spent all day riding the roller-coasters at WB Movie World, before driving up here. Today we're driving south again to MooLoolaba to stay with a friend of Marco's for a couple days. Evens will include fishing, and, perhaps, jetskiing. We have 2 more weeks in wich to work our way North to Cairns, then I'mm flying to Canberra for a few days to visit Elichrusos and do some shopping for western clothes before returning to Brissy that weekend for the SGAU ball.
It's gonna be a fun month, and I expect to be broke by the end of it.

Shopping with purchases may be a little dubious for me, I'm on a real tight budget right now. On the other hand, I can assist someone else shopping any time.
