Well kids, I'm alive and well in Sydney. I finally had a day to enjoy the city after one day of sleeping off the travel. and another of trying to find all the supplies I needed. I now have a phone (number available upon request) and a pair of sandals. (somehow I failed to pack both pairs 
). I also took time to throw together a CV and put out a few job enquiries yesterday. Today I was up early and strolled off up George street to the Royal Botanical Gardens, stopping at woolworths to grab a picnic lunch. I wandered around for about 4 hours, taking it all in. I was tempted to ask some of the work crews what it takes to get a job there. It's a beautiful spot. Expect pictures later.
That's the story so far. I'm glad to be here, but I'm missing everyone emensely.
