In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

Pray;
That one day human beings shall abondon war for peace,
That the instruments of war will be taken apart and made into tools for building a better world,
That the battlefields will be plowed under, or built up, to feed and house the hungry and homeless,
That nonsensical ideas of god, nation and money will no longer divide us,
That all of the of children of the world will be taught to love all others,
That all human hearts will finally be free,
And that the price of freedom will no longer need to be paid.
