Apperently it's been a while since I last updated, so I'm gonna tell y'all about my X-mas plans for this year. For the first time ever I won't be back in Ontario for the holidays. Instead I'll be going up to spend them with my sister in Nelson, whilst my other sister goes home by herself (also for the first time ever). I'm going to have to get some snow-shoes before I go as we will be staying in the cabin and the only way to get there in the winter is through deep snow.
This year I've decided that I will no longer be buying gifts for all my family and friends. Instead I've chosen to take the money I would have spent on them and make charitable donations in their names. I've asked them all to do the same in lieu of gifts for me as well. Quite frankly I've never been fond of the comercial nature of the holiday and have gotten sick of giving out a wish list to everyone of things that I probably don't really need. Really all I need from them all is the love that they give me all of the time anyway whether it's Christmas or not. So I figured that the best thing I could do this year is to take that love and share it with those who are in need. It's a plan I intend to perpetuate for every X-mas from now on.
I challenge you all to do something this holiday season to spread teh love and make your world just a little bit better.
