Just finished reading my blogs from the past... It's always interesting to see what you planned and where you ended up ;) Some things I did and some I didn't... Sometimes being flexible and enjoying life is what's important ;)
So I did sell my place in Texas. It was hard to part with my horses but I found good homes for all of them. I went to the Philippines in October 2015. It was supposed to be for 6 months, but I ended up being there for 2 years with the occasional trip home to Texas to see family and friends. I travelled all over the Philippines and added another couple hundred dives to the ones I'd done in previous years. I did a bit of travel, but not to as many places as I had planned. In June 2017 I went to Chuuk for a dive trip. The group I traveled to Chuuk with were all dive instructors from Guam and after spending a week with them I decided maybe it was time to teach after being a scuba diver off and on most of my adult life. I went back to the Philippines for a month, then I went home to Texas for a few months where I checked out the options. I did a dive trip to Florida while I was home. The end of October I headed to Hawaii and spent 3 months there training to be a scuba instructor. From there I went back to the Philippines the end of January, then moved to Guam the end of March.
Now I've been living in Guam for the last 17 months. I've been doing some work as a scuba instructor and decided to go back to college. I supposed I could have picked something easy, but I'm working on a BS in Biology. I've always had an interest in marine biology and now I have the opportunity to go that route. I'm still teaching scuba on the side, still traveling :)
I was cleaning out my inbox for the email address that I use here and ran across emails from Suicide Girls and realized that I'd let this fall by the wayside. I re-activated my account and here I am :)
Life is good!
