even more this weekend for the National Kidney Foundation of Florida at their 30th Rich Salick Pro/Am Surf Festival. Tons of fun this weekend at the Cocoa Beach Pier. This year we even have a Luau on Saturday night and a Silent Auction on Sunday night as well as our all weekend (including Monday) surfing, food and fun.

The Surfing starts at 8:30am tomorrow at the Cocoa Beach Pier for the 29th Annual Rich Salick/NKF Surfing Festival to raise money for The National Kidney Foundation of Florida! Pro/Am surfing contest, bikini contest, Silent Auction, and plenty of fun for all.
Ok, the event is over now and what a great weekend event. All told, I shot roughly 3100 photos and a few videos. The next two days are for photo editing and burning to dvds. I should hear an estimate of how much we raised this weekend when I go to Surf Expo later this week.
Another day done in the World's largest charitable Surfing Festival. Shot another thousand photos or so, including a Tandem Surfing expression session and the Silent Auction. The auction had a famous guest, who around here is more just part of the family, Kelly Slater. One more day of sun and surfing and then it is off to Surf Expo at the end of the week.
First full day of the Surfing Festival is done and I am already up to nearly a thousand photos taken. Very little sunburn today, but still two days left at the beach.
Well, we are under two weeks away from this year's 28th annual Rich Salick NKF PRO/AM Labor Day Surf Festival. Anyone in Florida during that weekend should stop by and help support a good cause. I will post a few pics from past events as soon as I track down where I put my photo editing software.
