Here lately I've been noticing that my life started getting pretty good at 30.

I love girlscout cookies, especially the thin mints.
But alas, they do not love me. I have, twice, eaten so many thin mints in one sitting that I have made myself physically ill.
I tell you all this while I sit here munching my way through an entire sleeve of thin mints. LOL!!!

My dream is to become a full-time photographer... where photography is my main source of income. Because then I could quit my job. LOL

Well... I'm back home now, and it's really great to be back in town.

I've got a great idea for a shoot I'm putting together, and can't wait to put the plan into action. It's going to be EPIC!!!

She's going to be in the nursing home for another week, which puts it at a month total, and then she gets to come home (maybe), which I know my grandpa is pushing for because he misses her. He goes up to the nursing home every day and sits with her.

I leave out in the morning for the Kansas City area to visit my sick grandmother. This could potentially be the last time I get to see her in person, so in general, this whole trip is pretty much going to suck.

Whew!
Survived the longest weekend ever.
I went from no overtime on when I left on Wednesday, to 20 hours of overtime when I left yesterday. That's a lot of hours in just 3 days.
I'm worn out.

Watching the news right now about the girl killing herself by head on collision with the truck driver...

I work in the food distribution industry. Which means that I have worked with, and continue to work with, many many truck drivers. With that being said, I don't think these people committing suicide by ramming a semi understand what they are doing to the truck driver....

Well...
Talked to my Grandpa today, and it looks like Grandma was doing a whole lot better. She was awake and talking.
He said they finally figured out which bacteria it was she had, and that they changed her antibiotics.
From what I'm understanding, her port for her dialysis got infected, and after she got to the hospital is when she had the heart attack....

So, it turns out that my grandmother is in the hospital right now.
Something about a diabetes related infection caused her to have a small heart attack.

With the way work is right now, I can't even get away to run up there (Kansas City area) to check on her.
