I was lucky in that when I first moved to Texas I had my brother and his girlfriend to hang out with until I made some friends. This is the first place I've moved to where I don't really know anyone at all :-/. But yeah, I'm sure the awesome people will come around soon enough .
I am so bored today.
My wife just flew with her mom to San Francisco for work, and now I am stuck here picking my nose until Wednesday.

1) You must have a muffler.

Today I am working on my truck. All that overtime I've had lately turned into a grand's worth of truck parts. Got me a set of badass headers, and some copper head gaskets.

And yeah it sucks-I would love to have lots of friends but it just doesn't fit with my personality or lifestyle. I don't like to go out and do things and I don't like the idea of being around a group of people (though once I'm there I'm fine and have fun) I like to be by myself-all of my hobbies are pretty much solitary activities.
Last paycheck had 30 hours of overtime on it.
I put in 31 hours of overtime last week alone, and look to be putting in about 15 to 20 hours of overtime this week as well, so I'll have about 50 hours of overtime on this upcoming check.
And there is no end in sight.
