I have to give props to Sony customer service. When I reported that I had a dead ps3 the total turn around time since the call to when I recieved my new ps3 was 12 days. That included shipping of the coffin to me and me sending back my old PS3 and weekends.
They actually shipped the new ps3 the same day they received my old one.
It took my about 3 hours to update and redownload all my purchased games. I did lose all of my saved games and the movies I had downloaded on it. Now I keep a thumbdrive andbackup my games saves on it. The PS3 looked brand new no scratches on it or smudges. it was still with that plastic film on it. It has 2.73 os installed on it.
The rugrat and I played a little of Firefight in Halo 3 ODST played some little big planet.

Funny because we reported our ps3 wouldn't read blu rays or games anymore and we had to pay to ship it and pay $150 to get it fixed. WTF.
