So here I am.

For the next 2 weeks I'm locked out assisting on a mixing session at the studio. Two weeks of dong nothing and getting paid for it.

Sweet.

Its really odd, though because this is the first time in like 2 years that I can look at a callender and tell you where I'll be and what I'll be doing next week...

I came out here because I had to get away from where I was. I figured I could barely make it and struggle along anywhere. At least in LA I'm more likely to find a job doing what I like and what I went to school for.

I'm a lot like you, I prefer to work from project to project myself. Hopfully I can make enough contacts out here to keep busy enough to make a living.

Preferably production coordination for films. But right now I'm looking to do whatever pays the bills. I just left a job working for a pro audio company in Ohio. Sounds like that's the thing up your alley.
